Just so you know I did NOT write this my friends at BRUTALBIZKIT and BRUTALIZEDBIZKIT did when they played Halo more frequently. I'm just sharing their knowledge with everyone. If you guys see that, thanks for all the memories playing Halo together.
1. Install Game "halocesetup_en_1.00.exe".
2. You will need to generate the KEY to install this game.
3. Click on "KEYGEN" folder and run the "Halo-Keygen.exe" to create a key!
4. After installing it will update your game to the 1.08 version.
5. Run the Halo Console (Go into MULTIPLAYER / Internet Games) if your Gamespy lets you see all the servers -- GREAT! (we're just checking to make sure the Game completely updates). ** If you do not see Gamespy servers. You haven't completely updated to the 1.08 version! You must do so to continue to Step 6!
6. Exit out of your Halo Console (completely close out of everything)
7. Now go to the attached (Haloce.zip) -- this was compiled with the tutorial and the HaloCESetup.EXE.
8. Extract (Haloce.zip)
9. Once extracted you will see a file called "haloce.exe"
10. DONT double click but highlight it and RIGHT CLICK (COPY)
11. PASTE the "haloce.exe" into this directory ** C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition
12. It will ask you if you would like to over-write the existing file.
13. Click "YES"
14. You're Done!
I know these instructions are a little out dated due to the new patch but they should still work just fine for what you need to do.

The server is NOT always running so don't try to always find it. I may end up opening it up to the public in the future. If you do the setup correctly you should be able to find it in the server list when it's running.
